166 дугаар бүрэн дунд сургуулийн эрхэм зорилго нь:
Хос хэлний сургалтын орчинд монгол улсын үндэсний болон кембрижийн олон улсын хөтөлбөрийг тэнцвэртэйгээр хэрэгжүүлж, суралцагч бүрд эрдэм мэдлэгийн бат бөх суурийг олгохын зэрэгцээ монгол үндэсний ижилсэл (монгол төрх, өв соёл), англи болон бусад гадаад хэлний өндөр мэдлэг, бие даан суралцах чадвар, мэргэжлийн чиг баримжааг төлөвшүүлэн, дотоодын болон дэлхийн шилдэг их, дээд сургуулиудад амжилттай суралцах итгэл төгс дэлхийн иргэнийг бэлтгэхэд оршино.
